July Favourites.

Well hello there. Long time no blog and all that jazz. 

I fell out of love with blogging and felt extremely unmotivated with life in general. I will do a more in-depth blogpost discussing such life woes but here are the products I've been loving this past month! 

So, let's start with the base. And shock horror 'tis a light "BB" base. Now, I am a full coverage gal but decided to try a light formula for my holiday to Turkey. TiffanyD is always raving about the Clinique "Anti-Blemish Solutions BB Cream" so I thought buggar it, whipped out the credit card (skint student problems) and made the purchase. 

Why do I love it?

It's light but with a great coverage that evens out my beetroot like skintone and even covers some of my acne scars. It has SPF 40 but doesn't make me look like Caspar and the shade "Light" is NOT orange. Hallelujah! Paired with a pretty heavy-duty concealer, it's love. 

Next is a product that every blogger/Youtuber is going on about but I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon! Currently only £5.98 in Boots FYI (I do love me a bargain!). The Maybelline "Lash Sensational" mascara is a winner. I have the waterproof version as I purchased it to take on holiday and I am definitely going to purchase the regular version. It provides long, fluttery, voluminous lashes that do not look spider-like at all. The waterproof really does not budge without an oil cleanser.. cue sexy morning panda eyes look. 

Now, I love me some false lashes but for some subtle fluttery definition I absolutely adore the Ardell 318s. I buy mine in a pack of 4 on eBay and they're perfect to elongate the eye and add definition without looking OTT.

Finally, I have rekindled my love for MAC "Creme d'Nude". 

It's creamy, opaque and the perfect nude for my pale skin. (This can look too pale with a darker eye so I would use a darker lipliner/gloss to balance it out a wee bit!).
